Millennial Software is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer.

Technical Tasks/Requirements:

The candidate will join a skilled team applying cutting edge research in a complex and evolving data environment, develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects (using python, tensorflow, pytorch and related software packages) and enhance an evolving analytic tradecraft. They will integrate data from a variety of sources, formats and disciplines into coherent databases, train foundation models to advance the Intelligence Community, fine-tune models to address real intelligence questions, and write compelling documentation and reports for decision makers.

· Active TS/SCI security clearance with the required Polygraph

· Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics etc)

· Data Science experience

· Python and/or R

· Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection

· Prior experience with Pytorch, keras and overhead imagery would be beneficial but not a requirement

· Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication and graphical representation skills.

· Sound judgment and creative problem solving and independent working skills.

· Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, industry, and academia).

· Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach consensus across stakeholders.

· The ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations.

· Technical understanding of the systems supporting aspects of the functional areas.

· Knowledge of standard tools [e.g., the Sponsor’s various computing networks, Microsoft Office Products], as appropriate; and a demonstrated ability to learn to use and support other tools that may be added or developed as the program evolves.
