Today, the Survey of Pakistan has announced an employment notification for Pakistani Nationals which appeared in the Daily Jang titled “Survey of Pakistan SOP Rawalpindi Jobs 2022 Apply | www.sop.gov.pk”.
Survey of Pakistan (SoP) employs its highly professional and trained staff spread across the country to collect, develop and provide geographic data using total stations, GPS, digital photogrammetry, and map digitization. Data is presented in the default GIS data format i.e. in addition to the format specific to the ESRI Shapefile client system.
The SOP provides a range of services in traditional and multimedia digital cartography to produce high-quality maps for its clients. Types of maps include topographic maps, thematic maps, guide maps in any projection, and coordinate systems. SOP also has a printing press with traditional and advanced CMYK printing techniques.

Currently, the Survey of Pakistan Jobs is opening to residents of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Applicants with Primary, FSc, ICS, DAE, or Graduation with Mathematics, Physics, Geography, or equivalent qualifications may apply for these SOP Vacancies.

Candidates selected for the post of Assistant will be required to qualify for 6 weeks of Basic IT Training Course conducted by NITB before completion of the probationary period.
Candidates selected for the posts of Technical Assistant and Technician will be given compulsory training in surveying discipline. On completion of training, they will be allotted specific trades as per requirement.
