Online Registration for AFNS Jobs in Pakistan Army

The Pakistan Army has opened up online registration for the esteemed Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS) Jobs 2023, inviting interested female candidates from across the country to apply via the official website https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/. The online registration process for AFNS will be active from 29th May to 30th June 2023. To be eligible for AFNS, applicants must have completed intermediate (F.Sc pre-medical).

Candidates appearing in the F.Sc Part-II examination (with 50% marks in the 1st year) can also apply by submitting a hope certificate, duly signed by the principal of their respective college or institution, attesting to their expectation of attaining 50% marks. Upon declaration of the F.Sc Part-II result, candidates must promptly submit their F.Sc marks sheet.

As for Trained Nurses, individuals interested in applying should be registered with the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC). Preference will be given to qualified candidates who have completed post basic specialized courses such as ICU, OT, CCU, etc., from a hospital or institute recognized by the Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Eligibility Criteria for AFNS Jobs 2023:

1. Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS):

Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/ Gilit Baltistan. Upon final selection, candidates with dual nationality will have to surrender nationalities other than Pakistani.
Education: Matric with Science (60% Marks) + F.Sc (Pre-medical) (50% Marks)
Age Limit: 17-25 years (as on 31 December 2023)
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Unmarried/ widow/ separated/ divorcee without encumbrances
Height: 5 ft (152.4 cm)

2. Trained Nursed as Lieutenant:

Domicile: Only domicile holder from Balochistan, KPK and Gilgit
Education: B.Sc Generic Nursing Only (No diploma holder candidate is eligible)
Age Limit: 18-28 years (as on 31 December 2023)
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Married/ unmarried
Height: 5 ft (152.4 cm)

How to Register Online for AFNS Jobs 2023?

To Join AFNS, interested candidates should register online at official website of Pakistan Army www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
Date and time of test shall be intimated on individual’s e-mail address. Date once given will not be changed.
Candidates will also bring along documents (mentioned in advertisement) and will pay prospectus fee on the day of test.
Candidates must attain working knowledge of computer.
Online registration is open from 28 May till 30^th June 2023.

Selection Procedure

1. Preliminary Tests:

It includes written/ intelligence/ personality tests.
Keep visiting official website for exam slip.
Exact date of exam will be printed on your exam slip/ roll no slip.

2. Preliminary Selection:

The candidates will undergo initial medical test at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).

3. Further Selection Procedure:

Interviews of successful candidates by the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board will be held at Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi for which separate call up letters will be issued.
Successful candidates will receive call up notices for interview.
The final selection will be made at GHQ on the basis of candidate’s overall performance.

4. Documents Required at AS&RCs:

Candidates will deposit following documents at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs):

Original certificates/ documents/ details marks sheet along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/ degree.
Candidates serving in Government’s institution will render No Objection Certificates (NOC) of the concerned establishment.
Attested photocopy of domicile.
Photocopies of computerized National Identity Card.
3 × Colored photos duly attested (front & back).
Crossed postal order of Rs.100/- in favor of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

5. Training Period:

BSc Nursing: 4 × Years training at AFGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta, PNS Shifa Karachi.
Trained Nurses: 6 × Weeks basic military training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian.
Note: On completion of successful training, shall be granted commission in the rank of Lieutenant.

6. Bond:

Finally selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the Army for minimum period of ten years of BSc Nursing before the commencement of training.
